Nature Connection and Your Well-being

On this blog, I have written many times about the benefits of Nature Connection for your well-being. Just check out some of these posts about Nature Connection to learn more!

I am really passionate about this topic because the majority of people in modern societies are deficient in nature connection, which leads to many problems related to their well-being. I have personally experienced how much developing and deepening my connection with nature has helped me recover from chronic stress and improve my well-being.

There is an incredible and ever growing amount of science with supporting evidence for the benefits of spending time in nature. And it has also been established that developing a deeper connection with nature has an even much more powerful effect!

Nature Connection can help you feel more calm, experience more positive thoughts and emotions, improve your resilience, improve your abilities for creative thinking and problem solving, feel more present, feel more connected to yourself and your intuition/inner wisdom, feel more alive and the list goes on and on!

Introducing Touched by Nature

The past 7 years I have taken a deep dive into this topic and combined with my other expertise and experiences – including Psychology, nature, teaching, development of content and educational materials, personal development, coaching and visual & performing arts – it has culminated into a new project that I am proudly presenting to you today!

Under the name Touched by Nature, I am now offering interactive online courses in Nature Connection that will help you recover from chronic stress and improve your well-being!

Improving your well-being is easy and fun

The great thing about it is that working on your well-being in this way is easy and fun. These courses are not designed to add to your stress, but to reduce it! I have developed a program that takes you through 4 simple steps that will help you ignite and cultivate your connection with nature. We also contribute to improve the well-being of nature!

The other great news is that in this course we do not only support an improved well-being of the participants of the course, but we also contribute together towards an improved well-being of nature! Nature gives us so much, it feels good to give back! And therefore I have partnered with Wilderlands!

Wilderlands is an Australian organization which offers unique way of protecting vulnerable Australian habitat, forever!

Wilderlands has developed one of the world’s first voluntary biodiversity credits: The Biological Diversity Unit (BDU). A Biological Diversity Unit (BDU) represents the protection of one square metre of high strategic conservation value land. Each BDU comprises a unique and verified unit in respect of a defined area (georeferenced), that will be permanently protected and managed by expert ecologists with an objective to maintain and enhance the integrity of its biological diversity.

Since launching in early August 2022, Wilderlands have protected over 120,000 square metres of vulnerable ecosystems in Australia, and this number is growing fast! I am excited to be able to contribute! And did you know that contributing to something like this is yet another boost for your own well-being??
